Print summaryA welcome addition to our collection of Jaguars. This model year XJR is one our favourite Jaguars. When the XJR came out at the end of 1996 ( 1997 model year) it took the motoring world by storm. She had a faster 0 to 60 time at 5.3 seconds than many performance sports cars including the Porche Boxer. The silky smooth V8 370 bhp engine surprised the Motor Press including Mr Clarkson ! The low sleek lines look stunning and of course was complimented with Jaguar wonderful interiors. A head turner were ever you go. In 2000 I took a Black with cream version to the South Of France and back for family Holiday- I wish I kept it. Moving back to this version which is finished in the most attractive Carnival Red metallic finished with Oatmeal leather interior- looks amazing. This version has the American burr walnut interior which was an option at the time. Owned by a Jaguar Enthusiast and clearly cared for.
